Secret Garden Dinners with Laurent-Perrier Champagne

St. Ermin’s Hotel has joined up with Laurent-Perrier Champagne to offer a sparkling series of Secret Garden Dinners.

On selected dates throughout the Chelsea Fringe festival as well as the Chelsea Flower show, these special dinners will also include a glimpse of the hotel’s brand new, working “roof kitchen garden”. Overlooking the Westminster skyline, enjoy a glass of La Cuvée and canapés followed by a ‘home grown’ four-course tasting menu in Caxton Grill, inspired by this culinary oasis.

The evening starts on the roof garden, which has been transformed and opened exclusively for the Secret Garden Dinners. Here, whilst sipping a glass of Champagne and indulging in some delicious canapés, Executive Head Chef, Alexander Boyd will introduce his ‘seed to saucepan’ project. This is followed by an exquisite four-course taster menu in the Caxton Grill, inspired by the roof kitchen garden and quality local ingredients:

Starter - Cured sea bass, oysters and cucumber with herbs, fromage frais and asparagus
Optional pairing: Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut

Fish - Confit salmon and langoustine with courgette, tomato and beetroot dressing
Optional pairing: Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2006

Main - Boneless rack of lamb with baby carrots, wild mushrooms and broad beans
Optional pairing: Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé

Dessert - Dark chocolate shell with strawberry mousse and a Champagne and lychee foam.
Optional pairing: Laurent-Perrier Demi Sec

Ladies are encouraged not to wear thin / high heels as the rooftop is a working environment. Menu is subject to change due to availability of ingredients
