Christmas Party Menu

A menu that celebrates the festive season, with a careful blend of the traditional and the new.

Starters

  • Twice-baked Stilton and Cheddar cheese soufflé with confit leeks, and cider apple sauce
  • Salad of roast celeriac with green apple, truffle green cheese and walnut crumbs
  • Coarse pheasant and foie gras terrine with homemade piccalilli and toasted brioche
  • Carpaccio of beef with smoked garlic foam, pickled baby vegetables and aged parmesan
  • Duo of home smoked salmon and halibut with rye bread and caper butter


Main courses

  • Roast Norfolk turkey breast stuffed with sage and apricot, served with glazed vegetables,
  • thyme roast potatoes, chipolatas and sage jus
  • Slow braised shoulder of lamb, celeriac purée, fondant potato, burnt onion and creamy Savoy cabbage, pancetta and lamb glaze
  • Salmon fillet and seared scallop with burnt apple purée, pickled vegetables, confit potato finished with citrus oil
  • Seared cod loin with soubise, wilted spinach, pommes duchesse, Chantenay carrots, pancetta and truffle jus
  • Beetroot tortellini with caramelised onions, pickled beetroot, candied walnuts and goats’ curd
  • Wild mushroom open lasagne with tarragon cream and rocket

Desserts

  • Christmas pudding with brandy butter and brandy sauce
  • Date sticky toffee pudding, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream
  • Warm almond and cherry tart with Armagnac Crème Anglaise
