Behind the Name

Named after Anthony Brooks, one of the Special Operations Executive’s youngest and longest-serving field agents in occupied France. As leader of the Pimento resistance network, he coordinated sabotage operations that disrupted German reinforcements before and after D-Day, earning some of Britain’s highest awards for gallantry.
