The O'Connell

Designed for up to 8 guests, The O’Connell has a warm, residential character, with panelled walls and bespoke cabinetry creating a comfortable setting for conversation, meetings and private dining.

A 65-inch Samsung Frame display, wireless screen sharing, video conferencing, integrated ceiling speakers and charging points bring everything you need discreetly into the room.

Behind the Name

Named after Barbara O’Connell, a Special Operations Executive operative and coder who handled secret communications with SOE agents during the Second World War.

Working from Britain, she encoded and decoded messages to and from resistance networks across occupied Europe, helping to coordinate intelligence gathering and covert operations. Barbara later kindly gifted St. Ermin’s an original SOE silk, which now hangs in the hotel lobby.
